Renowned
enforcer Mario Roberge donned this eye-catching red, white and blue road
jersey during the 1992-93 Stanley Cup winning season.
A minor league fan favorite, Roberge was called up from
Fredericton
to protect the likes of Kirk Muller, Vinnie Damphousse, and Stephan
Lebeau. An
overwhelming jersey as it possess a dozen or so small circular repairs,
as well as one 5 ˝ inch repair on the left sleeve where the seam had
been slashed.
Roberge only dressed for 3 games during the Canadiens ’93
post-season, so it is safe to say that Mario wore this jersey during the
regular season as well.
The “Anniversary of the Stanley Cup” Patch was sewn over to
offer the French version of the Stanley Cup Finals Patch.
Dazzling jersey from this
Quebec City
pugilist.
