| One of the “prides of my collection” thus far...A prodigious jersey from this four-time Stanley Cup winner. Sweater exhibits roughly 90 circular repairs (Many intertwined into masses of thread that become indistinguishable from one another) with astonishing interior pilling. Puck and stick marks are abundant and palpably visible all through the body and arms of the jersey. The back portion of the jersey has undergone a nameplate change and was restored flawlessly (maybe “seamlessly…?) by the organization. It does cause the viewer to perceive a disparity in the color tinting linking the “new” nameplate and the original numerals. A one-of-a-kind, true gem of a jersey. Bruins fans will undoubtedly recollect Lambert as the game-winning goal during the “too many men on the ice” Forum gaffe by Coach Don Cherry . |
