Pierre
Bouchard claimed a spot manning the Habs Blue Line during the 1970-71
Season, and was utilized predominantly as an armament for the “Flying
Frenchmen” of the 1970s.
Bouchard secured two Stanley Cup rings during the 1976-77 Season
and the 1977-78 Season respectively.
The jersey shows first-rate game use with great paint transfer,
bloodstains (especially around the elbows), and a glut of stick and puck
marks throughout the lower hem of the garment.
Outmoded garter belt fight strap is fastened to the lower half of
the jersey and shows some salt deposits and rusting.
A lone-year jersey style designed for the Montreal Canadiens, and
a superlative acquisition for any collector of 1970’s jerseys.
